I am considering repainting my 325ix to resemble snow (hence the nickname of the ix; snow bimmer). would changing the paint lower the value of the car?

    What year is it?
    Will the paint job take the paint off down to bare metal and start fresh?

    If you don't remove all the old finish you risk peeling due to poor adhesion caused by silicone from car waxes and other environmental contaminants.
